Structure Of A Good Seminar Report/Paper

Following parts are essential for a good seminar report.
  1. Title Page (including all or some of these subject, author, date of completion etc.)
  2. Table of contents
  3. Acknowledgement
  4. Abstract (Synopsis/ Executive Summary): Should include a essence from all components of the report without dominating any parts. should be written after finishing of entire report. Give a gist of actual report. It should be like an independent document as it can be provided to people who do not have time to read the document completely.
  5. Body Of The Report       
  6. Appendices: Charts, Graphs, Data sheets...
  7. Bibliography: List of references(citations, books, articles, website. etc.), Consistency is required while citing references. List Alphabetically by author's name.
Body Of the Report contains following elements.
  • Introduction: A brief background on the subject of report.
  • Procedures and Method/ Research: Giving idea about how the data was collected, observations and notifications.
  • Analysis and Findings: The important findings after the analysis of data is organized in a logical and objective form. 
  • Conclusion: It states what the findings have shown objectively.
  • Recommendations: It is logical flow from conclusion. It explains direct possible course of action.
